We identified an issue with chat this morning starting at 11:15 EST which resulted in degraded performance for all chat Users working in Help Scout and interacting with Beacon as an end user. This issue lasted around 30 minutes, resolving at 11:40 EST.
During this time frame, Help Scout Users may have noticed chats disconnecting and/or the UI freezing or lagging when trying to access a chat. End users may have experienced similar issues when using Chat features via Beacon.
Preventing these issues in the future is a top priority for our team. We apologize for the trouble this morning!
